Wisconsin Rapids Area Progress Fund Committee Members Thomas Marshall* Libby Rosandick Gary Rosencrans Lorraine Schmutzer Beth Stark *Committee Chair Grants Given $1,000 to support a community picnic sponsored by the municipalities of Wisconsin Rapids, Grand Rapids, and Biron. $1,000 to support the Masquerade Ball, a community event to highlight downtown Wisconsin Rapids $400 to support River Cities Evening Garden Club, which puts together and maintains 18 colorful planters in downtown Rapids. $500 to support the 2006 WIAC Baseball Tournament in May, 2006 $1,000 to support the 2nd Annual Community Picnic $250 to support Tourism Kiosk $200 to support a Trolley used to transport visitors to points of interest at "Cultural Classics" as part of the Grand Affair held in September, 2007 $106 to support advertising for Kellner Area Garage Sales held in May, 2007, to promote and bring people to the Kellner/Grand Rapids area $500 to support the Wood County Veterans Memorial $300 to support new planters in downtown Wisconsin Rapids, maintained by the River Cities Evening Garden Club $75 to support the first Cranberry Blossom Princess and Her Court as part of the Cranberry Blossom Festival held in June, 2007 Support your local community fund today!
